Withdrawing a Quote
Once you submit a quote, if you no longer wish to be considered for an award on the solicitation, you can withdraw your submitted quote.
Business Rules for Withdrawing a Quote
When you withdraw a quote, you should be aware of the business rules that will be applied.
- Your withdrawn quote will NOT be considered for an award.
- You can withdraw a quote anytime you want UNTIL the solicitation is fully awarded. Once a solicitation is fully awarded, your withdrawn quote is no longer displayed in the My Quotes table.
- You can resubmit your withdrawn quote UNTIL the solicitation closes.
- If you wish to resubmit your withdrawn quote AFTER a solicitation has closed, you must contact the Contracting Officer who will determine if it is appropriate to put you into negotiations, which will enable you to resubmit your withdrawn quote.
To withdraw a quote:
- Click on the My Quotes tab.
- In the table, in the Action column for the quote you wish to withdraw, click on the Withdraw this Quote icon (
).
The quote that you submitted (completed, signed, and submitted) will be flagged as "Withdrawn" in the VIPR system and the Contracting Officer will no longer consider your quote for evaluation for an award.
